Musical Occasions is very proud to be providing the music for a few prestigious events this week!

 

Tonight we are providing the Goby Catt Jazz Trio for the Rick Hansen Gala at the Vancouver Convention Centre – honouring Canadian icon Rick Hansen’s continued journey to inspire a new generation and accelerate progress towards a more healthy and inclusive world.

 

Also this evening, we are proud to provide our top string quartet for the Vancouver Club’s “Red Carpet – Black Tie Lobster Dinner” Event.

 

This Saturday, May 19^th, The Vancouver Club is presenting their Spring Gala “Il Paradiso Terrestre”.  Our top string quartet and soprano will entertain the guests along with the great Soulstream Dance Band!  This promises to be the event of the season!

 

In addition to the standard classical repertoire; The Musical Occasions String Quartet is known for their excellent renditions of hit pop tunes by Adele, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Aerosmith, Lady Gaga, Metallica, The Beatles, U2, Guns & Roses and more!

Engage Wedding Show March 11, 2012

This past January, Musical Occasions was asked by The Vancouver Club to be a part of their first ever Engage Wedding Show.  With the exclusivity that is synonymous with the Vancouver Club, we are always honoured to be recognised as their preferred live music vendor. We were thrilled to provide the music, in the form of a pop-music-playing string quartet, for the Engage Wedding Show and all of its fabulous attendants.  It’s always a pleasure to be in the company of what is considered to be Vancouver’s elite wedding vendors.

Without a Hitch Bridal Show! February 17, 2012

On Saturday, February 25th join us at the Without a Hitch Wedding Show at the Westwood Plateau Golf Club where we are featuring a harp, violin & cello trio from 11am – 1pm and then our very popular string quartet from 1-3pm.  Brides and grooms that like both classical and popular music will love our string quartet’s version of ROLLING IN THE DEEP!
